Good piece in the Graun about “anti-escapist games”. Farming Simulator, PowerWash Simulator, Motorcycle Mechanic, Car Mechanic Simulator und andere seem designed for the Afterword diaspora. The latest – Lawn Mowing Simulator – I’m not kidding – had to be conceived by Fentonsteve.

Except that it’s not. I just heard it on a Burns & Allen radio show from 1940. It matters not a ha’porth, of course, it’s still the funniest gag ever told (and he told it better). Unless you have a funnier one. Which I doubt. So I WIN.
