A song just popped on the Shuffle from an LP that I don’t know at all well. One of those that you get in a weak moment because critical opinion. “Hang on,” I said – to myself of course, largely because I knew no-one else in the house would give a flying one – “hang on, that sounds just like him out of the Blue Nile!” A quick visit to Wikipedia later confirms the encyclopedic breadth/colossal waste of time of my useless pop trivia knowledge.
