Have just heard that Jon Hiseman has passed.
Very sad news – a fine drummer and a decent bloke on the occasion I attended a talk he gave.
A brief heads-up – the sensational short-lived jazz-rock quintet led by Mike Westbook in the early weeks of 1972, with Isotope guitar wiz Gary Boyle, released an own-label live album ‘Live’ at the time. Now we have a fabulous new expanded remaster on Hux Records, mastered by Jon Hiseman and featuring two extra tracks. Trust me, it’s terrific…
