After the single Ambisonic mic recording in the family garage of the Cowboy Junkies’ debut, and the none-less-80s Ambisonic mic recording in a church of their second, the Trinity Sessions, in 1989 the band and their Ambisonic mic headed to another chapel (the Sharon Temple, an hour north of Toronto) to record their third album. They canned those recordings and headed to a studio to record The Caution Horses instead.
The Sharon Temple sessions have just been released. Cor!
