I’m very much enjoying the Can ‘The Singles’ collection released today. I didn’t realise Can released much in the way of singles but it seems they did, and while they are perhaps best heard in extended album format it’s quite fun to hear a career spanning set distilled down to a bunch of 7″ edits. If you’re unfamiliar with the band this is an excellent entry point – and it seems I’ve never heard ‘Turtles Have Short Legs’ before which was released around the same time as Tago Mago – it’s a cracker.
