A further update from the latest newsletter is that there is still no release date set for the debut Roxy album or Tears for Fears ‘Seeds of Love’ or Crimson’s ‘Beat’ and ‘Three of a Perfect Pair’.
He clarifies the position re the upcoming Aqualung reissue (below) and adds that the next in the series will be ‘Stand Up’, hopefully towards the end of this year.
‘Please note that while I did not have a say in the decision to reissue the set, I was at least able to take the opportunity to replace the somewhat controversial mastering that was applied to the 2011 edition with my own approved mastering, so the mixes are now exactly as they left my studio. There are also 3 additional 5.1 surround sound mixes that were not included on the 2011 release: “Just Trying to Be”, “Wond’ring Aloud, Again”, and “Wind Up” (early version). ‘

Yes sounds good, but a bit disappointed that there seems to be no sign of ‘Songs From The Wood’ on the horizon.
Maybe a 2017 40th anniversary release? Here’s hoping…
