When Summer comes, my mind drifts to jazzy samba and ska/ bluebeat.
This is is a good example. The clip has it’s pre-Yewtree charms, but I do wonder about the bassist’s outfit.

I remember playing the album this came from in the car as the sun shone from a blue sky, not unlike today.
So this always reminds me of that sunny time, and the weekend I met my wife.
Obvious, but a May-September day doesn’t go by without All Summer Long, Shut Down Vol. 2, Little Deuce Coupe or Surfin’ U.S.A. getting played.
