I do like to take snaps of good street art. Here is one round the corner from Sheffield Hallam University . Anyone got any they like. Another one from me in the threads

The cover to a lost Muse album?

Rob Lenkiewicz’ mural in the Barbican, Plymouth, a source of wonder and joy for me throughout my teenage years. Allowed to fade and rot by a combination of the artist’s poor health and the philistinism of the local council, it is no longer visible.
If if known how to flip the photo that accompanies my name on this blog I’d look pretty clever right now, wouldn’t I?
Though not as clever as if I’d written “I’d” and not “if” as the second word in that comment.
Hey that’s cool never noticed your avatar. Is it the same piece of art then. Or is the one in Sheffield a copy of a portrait that I am ignorant of….Peter Blake at a guess?
I quite like some of Phlegm’s work which is all over Sheffield, but mainly on old factory walls. There’s also a nice one on the back wall of the Rare and Racy section no hand bookshop and a fantastic one behind the Riverside pub on the river wall.

He has painted walls all over the the Uk, Europe and the rest of the world.
Edit: *second hand* not *section no hand*
I have a 35mm photo of this taken at street level in New York in the mid 90s. The partially obscured caption reads, “No glove, no love.” It was astonishing.
