The ivory tinkler with The Attractions \ Imposters etc is bringing his show of variations on Costello tunes to the capital next month. Any other trainspotters been to see him perform this show? I’m no doubt gonna go as I think he’s a marvellous player and often elect to sit “Steve Side” at Costello gigs to watch him play.

I’m grateful to the Afterworder who recommended Steve Nieve’s 2012 CD “Lazy Point” sometime last year (?).
I bought it.
It’s really good!
Saw him in Brisbane last year – was a great show. Lots of variation and great playing obviously, delivered with wry humour. Dragged Mrs thep along after a careful briefing, and she loved it too.
