Surprised to see no mention of the fact that those loveable scamps from Liddypool are now available on Spotify.
That said, not quite as surprised as I was to see them on there at this point. I assumed that, as the rival Apples had kissed and made up, they would have appeared on Apple Music – the latest would-be Spotify killer.
Helluva coup for the Swedish streamers.

Ahhh, but it has been mentioned:
And the HJH are on everything, not just Spotify: Apple Music, Amazon, even Deezer. Even though I own their albums in various forms, I’m surprised at how much of a kick it is to have them on Spotify & see them pop up on playlists…
D’oh!
In my defence, I did search this site for ‘Beatles Spotify’ and the last result that came up was the one about George’s solo output…
Can we, in The Afterword, please come to a collective decision? Should we tag our posts with “Beatles” or “The Beatles”? Both appear in the top twenty tags or whatever number it is. Personally. I’m a “The Beatles” man. The definitive article is appropriate in so many ways, plus it is the actual name of the group. “Beatles” suggests the individuals who were in the group rather than the group itself.
I’m losing sleep over this.
How about we never mention them again….ever….Please!
That’s not going to happen
By the way, I have all three of Spotify enabled devices playing Octopus’s Garden on repeat in an attempt to get it at or near the top of The Beatles most played.
I’m distressed to read about your sleepless nights Tigger.
Why not try listening to some Tangerine Dream? Or Metallica’s Enter Sandman?
Hmm. Even Max Richter isn’t doing the trick. ?
Thanks for the tip off Dougie. I missed the earlier post.
As a compulsive playlist compiler that is fantastic news. And as we’ve just started the very long drive back to Stockholm, a bit of HJHMs will hit the spot very nicely.
Released on Christmas Eve… Still trying to outdo Jesus!
*burns the Internet in protest*
We have noted the Beatles Anthology Revisited podcast series haven’t we?
30-odd hours of HJH interviews and history – a fabulous project worthy of your attention!
