mini I have that pressing and unless your set-up HI-Fi is 25K+ you will find it quite good. The thing is audiophiles like to pick holes in almost every pressing of every album including MoFi and other audiophile labels output. Listen without prejudice ; ))
Great heads up – thanks!
Crikey, some of the LPs are under a fiver. Did the labels badly overestimate demand, I wonder?
Some of them are known bad pressings that were in the equivalent sale last year.
Just singles under 5 pounds, isn’t it?
Including one by James Last. Gott in Himmel! Was ist das?
In the Age UK shop you could probably get 25 James Last albums for a fiver.
There are a few, including some of the Marvin Gaye ones.

Edit: Just checked again, there are two, both Marv.
Exile On Main St. is 9.99, is it a terrible pressing? Not that I want it, but that seems terrific value.
I’ve got the half-speed version, so no idea I’m afraid.
“I’ve got the half-speed version.”
Afterword t shirt.
Why thank you. Actually, they’re really good at accepting fault and sorting things if it does turn out to be rubbish.
To be honest, it would be difficult to tell with Exile whether it was a terrible pressing or not.
“It sounds really muddy! I’m taking it back!”

It’s not really one of my favourite albums so I wasn’t planning on getting it.
I’ll stick with my original copy, which is not only missing the outer sleeve but has a fag burn on disc 1.
