The gist of this is the income received from streaming is not going to do into the black hole of an “unrecouped advance” (i.e. kept by the label).
For the kind of acts this covers – many AW faves, I suspect – income received from streaming isn’t huge in the first place. Nobody is going to get rich from this.
Still, better than nothing.
