If you’re in or around Glasgow on Tuesday night (and not watching the football), this could be a nice way to spend the evening. Three mature chaps singing songs and telling stories in a nice little venue.

Both Jim and Michael are very good and this is the kind of thing I’ll be bringing to the party: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSjegd9_uqg
Football? Who would be swayed from attending this gathering by a football match?
I tell you this, boy, I will tell you this – if I was on the same landmass on the date in question, I’d be there with knobs on!
I assume that you are the Raymond in the trio?
ETA: just spotted your comment above – good luck with it!
I was contacted by the Scottish FA about this gig. Apparently there is a big game on at Hampden that night and they are a bit concerned that our event might impact on the attendance. I told them, respectfully, that they ought to have checked the Glad Cafe autumn programme BEFORE scheduling the Scotland-England game. I don’t see how we can be held responsible if the attendance at Hampden turns out to be lower than they’d normally expect. I haven’t heard yet if the SFA are planning to reschedule, but I’m really looking forward to sharing a stage with Jim King and Michael McMillan, two exceptional singer-songwriters.
Arf!
I know Jim a fair bit. I’m sure it’ll be a grand night.
I’m doing my own Skiffle thing a few miles away, but have a good one!
Good luck, looks like a good night ahead.
