I’ve been playing a compilation from a Word Mingle a lot recently called “Scran” which I think was made by @beezer or possibly @malc ….or possibly @icantremember. Anyway it’s really excellent and this is a splendid track from it…
The late Guy Clark sang generically of Texas Cookin’ and more specifically of Homegrown Tomatoes (pronounced “tomaters”, of course).
Posting from my phone and it’s too involved to post the links to YouTube, so you’ll have to look them up yourself if you’re interested.
The most bonkers song about food ever? Also works as a recipe/cooking instruction video; from an old Swedish film, Alice Babs singing “Spagettivisa” (knowing Swedish is not a requirement, easy enough to understand anyway): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rg3p04_BuA
