Are Beanie and the only ones in a festive mood?

Hannah Lawrence (who she?) graced the patrons of today’s Daylight Music (at the Union Chapel in traffic-choked Highbury) with a selection of Xmas ditties played on the chapel’s 140-year-old pipe organ.
“Here It Is, Merry Christmas”, “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree”, “A Fairytale Of New York” (and unfortunately “Last Christmas”, which means I have been partially Whammed and only 8 days into December). There were others but my sieve-like memory has permitted them to sift away. One trad. Xmas carol in the bunch also. I forget which one.
This evening I’m going to a Christmas Cabaret Evening at the pub. More Xmas ditties for sure.
