I missed most of the first series and thus had to catch up on the iPlayer after I discovered I was hooked. It’s got better and better over series 2 & 3. A fair bit of darkness in there, which appeals to me.
I like Andy’s songs, even though they’re pretty crap. I suppose they’re meant to be.

Yes – like it lots. I’ve blitzed through seasons two and three over the last couple of days. Just been gripped by the hospital episode. ‘How are you feeling?’ ‘Like I’ve been felt up by Edward Scissorhands!’
Yes! Its great. Nick Helm is tremendous as always and the relationship between his character and nephew Errol is beautifully written. However, ep 6 in the current series….the fantasy ep … really didnt work for me. Not quite shark jumping but not far off it.
I thought that one was particularly good. I liked the bit where the fantasy kept flipping backwards and forwards to reality as they were arguing. And Errol struggling at times to keep the modern tech out of the tale.
OK, I’m sold. I hadn’t heard of this before but watched the first two episodes of series 1 last night (Did you take a swing at Shrek?) Very promising so far.
