Not sure if this will work, but worth a try – I’ve tried to put a link here to a Danish radio programme’s website that’s hosting a recording from 1970 wherein Sandy Denny plays a few of her fave choons. It’s a nice listem; hope this works.

Radish Talk…..reminds me of Peter Cook as Sven in Swiss Cottage, complaining about the fact that all they ever talk about on Norwegian radio is fish. “How big is a chub?”

Just listened to this and it’s like opening door into a more innocent time. Sandy sounds so posh and nervous although she was only 23 – but hard to think of the feisty beer swilling hedonist that Joe Boyd thought would bully those innocent Fairport boys. My favourite line was ‘here’s something by a new band you may not know yet’ – Steeleye Span’ . I feel so old.
