I read that as Bernie Marsden. In the Daily Mail. Quite a coup.
Not 99p, but I recently bought Will Birch’s fabulous pub rock history ‘No Sleep Till Canvey Island’ on Kindle (unavailable in print). The only book I’ve bought in that form (much prefer paper). But a bargain at £7.99.
Been looking for a print version of that, but cheapest I can find is about the equivalent of flogging a kidney. Might have to accept this electronic malarkey and go the kindle route

I’m almost finished listening to the audio book. It’s interesting but there’s a lot of name dropping and some fairly tedious info about his marriages. Overall, I’m glad I listened but I imagine actually reading it is quite hard work at times.
