Jon Savage who reviewed that single tweeted that he is reviewing a 4 LP version of I’m Stranded. It includes the audio from this gig.
It’s interesting to look at the 1976 Sounds writers’ singles of the year poll (which will be on the Soundsclips Twitter account somewhere). It was clear that ‘punk’ was happening, even though only a handful of records had been released.
Amongst a million other Australian albums of the 80s he produced this pop gem. Pat Wilson was the wife of Ross Wilson, then (80s) fronting the band Mondo Rock but before that he fronted the greatest Australian band ever – Daddy Cool
