What a sad feeling. She was brilliant in the actual film ‘Fame’.
Farewell to the lady however I`ve never heard of her. Sorry.
Really? For a few months in 1981 Fame seemed to eat the world. Even Shaky was shaken.
Moose in the 80’s I never listened to the radio, it was turntable play everyday even when those 5” silver things came along.
The Flashdance song was a total banger. I had a bit of a crush on Jennifer Beals too TBH.
Wasn’t there a fuss about a fella with a tache doing her dance moves?
I remember shockhorror when it was rumoured/revealed that she had a stand-in (dance-in?) but surely it wasn’t a blerk was it?
Next you’ll be telling us that Jennifer Beals wasn’t dancing IN ITALIAN and that it was dubbed!
