Richard Manuel – new book …”to capture his essence was like shovelling smoke”

A new book is out. I haven’t read it but this review seems fairly helpful.
I do wonder whether he is overrated in terms of his contribution. Wonderful voice yes ,but as for what his legacy is ,,,well…..not much. Addiction explains it of course but it is still a modest legacy.
