Mike (I presume its Mike!) are you doing anything “different” to get these images to display? It was looking as if embedding Photos was a thing of the past, but you’re obviously managing it somehow.

Got it. Create an Imgur post with the photo then link to that. Cool
@mod-team I commented on what’s happening with imgur posts a wee while ago, but it must have got tumbleweeded.
Towards the end of last year, if you had an imgur account and linked to photos in it, the link appeared but not the photo. Imgur appeared to have blocked that kind of linking. Bandwidth, presumably.
A few weeks ago, the imgur-hosted pictures started appearing again. Perhaps their policy has changed? Alternatively, could this site have been on a ‘blacklist’ where posting wasn’t allowed?
When imgur stopped showing linked photos on this site, I tried imgbb and Tinypic as alternatives, and they only displayed as links.
It showed up as a link when I first saved the post, but when I clicked on it to do a bump the pic was there. All very mysterious!
Brilliant – Up arrow in the post.
If I could photoshop and embed photos here (Imgur seems to not work for me anymore) I’d be in like Flynn.
I’d have Messrs Mainwaring, Wilson, Jones and Fraser on Mt Rushmore for that Deep Purple LP cover.
I’m going to get Bingo’s intern to put Tom and Barbara Good on that Simon & Garfunkel / Kruder & Dorfmeister cover.
Excellent!
A thousand ups my friend!
Well played!
Someone I know on Twitter contacted the person who made this, and asked for a hi-res version. Which he then sent to the printer’s:
Wonderful. Still giggling…
Not my work (by the way). Was sent to me and I thought it was ace…
Hurrrrrrr….
Oooohhh, eye know!
Bravo. Points all round!
Tom?
“Together, Miss Jones, we can live with the sadness…”
Requests!
Nation Of Millions with Fletcher and Godber…
The Dare gatefold with pics of Richard O Sulivan, Paula Wilcox and Sally Thomsett
accompanied by George and Mildred on David Bowie’s Pin Ups…
Ricky Gervais and himself on the cover of Suede’s debut..,
“Carlton Stanley Ridenhour, you are an habitual timebomb…”
Ah, ain’t it great the way everyone can recite that intro verbatim.
In contrast, few recall the inferior sequel Going Straight Outta Compton
Well, how could they follow such tracks as Genial Harry Grout To the Edge of Panic (or indeed Naff Orf Channel Zero)
