Anybody else a fan and looking forward to season five? For me, this is one of the best tv dramas of recent time, but doesn’t seem to get the recognition like Breaking Bad etc.
Previous four seasons currently back on Sky for anyone slightly interested.
Ray Donovan season five.
I was keen, but I think the quality went down season on season. Often the way with US shows.
I’ll still watch, but it does suffer from having no likeable characters in it.
I was rather surprised to see a new series appear the other day as I believed it had been cancelled. Clearly not the case.
I felt the slight dip in S3, but I really enjoyed S4 – hoping it’s on an upward curve!
Season 1 was WTF. Season 2 was a bit meh but since season 3. Wowzers!
Just watched season 1 on Amazon Prime. Very good overall, but wasn’t convinced by the way one lead character talked his way out of a bullet in the head.
Looking forward to watching 2 and 3.

Just about to start season 5 now – I’ve been reading that it’s fairly powerful stuff, so looking forward to it.
Not sure if anybody watching season five – thought it started quite slow, but the last two episodes have been absolutely brilliant – some of the best drama I’ve seen!
