You know how it is. You buy a CD from the merch stall out of respect (if it’s not too expensive) when someone’s performing for free. The principal songwriter of this band was noodling on guitar between acts at today’s Daylight Music free lunchtime show at the Union Chapel in that London. I’d seen him playing solo there before and had enjoyed his songs.
Got the CD (called Obituaries) home and put it on just now. It’s rather good, I think. Melodic, catchy and clever.
No album tracks available on YouTube at present, but this live studio rendition of an album track and a few other live tracks are up there.
Maybe you won’t like them, but I do, and I rate their album one of the best Merch purchases I’ve made.

This lady was also present, playing piano with 2 dancers, a cellist, a violinist and a guy playing a very battered telecaster with a bow and other mysterious devices.

A 5-track CD for a fiver and a 3-track download for a quid at the merch table. All really good.
A pretty good day’s music IMO.
