She Done Died – Natalie Duncan. Very soulful indeed. I’ll play the whole of Devil In Me once I’ve finished this.
Bach: Goldberg Variations, BWV 988 Variation 19 A 1 Clav – Glenn Gould. His fingers, as befits his name, are liquid gold.
Sam Cooke ‘Made For Me’ – Didn’t know it, it’s nice. Might put it on my regular playlist.
Elliot Smith ‘Say Yes’ – Ditto all of the previous. This is turning into a very helpful randomiser sesh.
Rock Follies ‘Struttin’ Ground’ – This might have come up cos I’ve been listening to both albums in the car recently. And thinking “someone should revamp the series as a stage musical”. Make a fortune, so you would.
The 1975 ‘Talk! – The Hackman Remix’ – Again, never listened to it before. I wonder if that’s Gene Hackman out of The Unforgiven? Bit groovy, bit boring.
The Redskins ‘Lean On Me’ – T’riffic stuff, but not at all what I’m in the mood for. (Next up came Beck’s ‘Morning’ – much more suitable).
I used to love Rock Follies back in the day (`70`s), didn`t it become a stage show at one time? Maybe my memory playing tricks.
Not sure if Rock Follies became a stage show but Tell me on a Sunday certainly did.
