I though that the Burning Spear set was bound to turn up on iPlayer, but no. Obviously roots reggae doesn’t warrant streaming, not when you can fill the internet with some of the other sh.. they chose instead.

Echoing Kid’s concerns over on the Shakey thread, I hope nobody clicks this link.

Have you got the Kaiser Chiefs?
Accidentally clicked on the link. Gotta say it was pretty underwhelming. Maybe the recording lacked bass but the band sounded reggae lite – nothing like the locked in groove I know and love. And as for Winston’s conga playing….
Thanks all the same
I know, I know, but it was lovely to see the fella again all the same.
That guitar player was horrendous.
And the crowd didn’t give a fuck.
He was on the Pyramid Stage which would never work for him. Too many civilians waiting for Alanis or Biffy.
Would have been excellent on West Holts.
Black Uhuru (or something approximating them – Duckie Simpson is the last man standing, and doesn’t do an awful lot anymore) were very enjoyable on West Holts
