Laphroaig 10 Year Old Malt Whisky 70cl bottle – on offer at £26 quid (£12 off) at Sainsbury at the mo’.
Sorry if you’re not in the UK or if you can only bring yourself to shop at Waitrose. When Harrods and Harvey Nicks are both shut.
Add your own Crimble bargains in the comments.
/please resume normal service
Highland Park 12 yo Viking Honour also at Sainsbury’s for £25.
Yum.
Your average UK Afterworder is probably totally unaware that there are shops other than Waitrose, so that’s a service in itself.
“Good lord, this is where the little people shop!”
Is that the Southern Booths?
Arf. A poor copy.
Makers Mark Bourbon – £20 in Morrisons
Woodford Reserve – £20 in Asda
Canadian Club- £16 on Amazon
Pogues Irish Whiskey – £17 on Amazon
That should see me through …
Woodford Reserves 20, Barnstoneworth 1.
M Mooche, for Barnstoneworth, yellow-carded for a late tackle in the second half.
Moose’s “tackle”. Hurrr…
Sliding…
Woodford Reserve for 20 quid is a very good deal.
Mrs T uttered the words “but you just bought 3 bottles of whisky, why do you need more”. I explained the rule of guitar purchase optimisation applies:
Y=x+1 where y is the optimum number and x is the number you currently have.
My screen wallpaper caption reads ‘Then she said ‘Why do you need more than one bike?” to hoots of derision.
Not much use to probably anyone else on here, but a local wholesaler in Singapore has The Singleton 18yr old on offer at SGD$118 (about £60) which for here is a very good price.
I’m sure I’ve had The Singleton before, but can’t remember it – however, the price seems too low for an 18yr old, which is making me reluctant to purchase. Anyone know if it’s any good ?
The Welsh malt Penderyn (Madeira Finish) is £25 in Tesco, normally £37, (and for vodka lovers they have Grey Goose also at £25, normally £39. )
Morrisons have two others from the Penderyn stable on offer, Legend £22 (was £32) and Celt £25 (was £35). I’d recommend any of these for those who’ve not already sampled them.
