I was caught up in one of those wordage pub games last night. ” Who’s got the box?”. Very frustating as didn’t latch on to it, and felt an idiot ( no real change there) when the answer was explained to me.
Can you suggest other ones so that I can retaliate?

Not exactly a word game, but how about Marxist Monopoly ? I think it would be rather po faced and dull, mind. Not much going on. All those little grey plastic communes.
I seem to dimly recall there was a Soviet bloc version of Monopoly called ‘Economise Wisely’ in which you could buy a worker’s flat and win holidays at party member resorts. Must add only heard this via a Danny Baker show so may be hucksterish bullshine

You can win a current ongoing contested will of a scrofulous bat diviner and half a pound of unfortunate car breakdowner (seasonal and mist depending). Same with hitch hikers round here. A plethora of second hand rucksacks at the barn where birds don’t sing.
