Or, as increasingly the way, a Warren Ellis album with Nick Cave talking over his arrangements?

Yup, spotted that. The Seeds weren’t really much on the last one either. (And, you know, I prefer that, snarky remarks about talking and all.)
Liking this so far.
Mr Cave is the only artist I can think of who’s been going forty years without releasing a bad album.
I wholeheartedly agree with this. His run of excellent albums is quite staggering
I will wait for the physical rewlease. Mr Cave is a very good songsmith and I expect the usual quality he is known for.
I`ll give the above track a listen later, I`m busy listening to Shakey`s `Down In The Rust Bucket` which is rather good.
I am on my 5th listen of this album now & IMHO it is pretty darn incredible!
Each song on it has the potential to be my favourite & I have not felt like that about an album for quite some time. I admit to being a fan of all things Nick Cave so I do tend to have a kind ear waiting when a new album is released. But even so, this one has surpassed even the highest of expectations.
Current favourite is White Elephant or Shattered Ground
