I made myself listen to that all the way through, just to see if my preconceptions were off. Turns out they weren’t. I really have a problem with virtuosity for its own sake. Seems to me an enormous part of being in a band is knowing what not to play.

First “real” band I saw, PFM. Well, headliner. Support was Widowmaker who I preferred.
