This was part of one of the music questions on Round Britain Quiz a few weeks ago. Smokestack Lightning by Howling Wolf, then a Snow Patrol track was played, then something else, and finally Pink Moon, the connection being different names for the full moon during the year. I had no idea there were so many, but Wikipedia shows several for each month of the year.
There are probably songs for each of them, but this is the only other one I can think of, right now:
Maybe not so odd. Nick Drake played “St. James Infirmary” in a Marlborough school band
and ex-Duran Duran member Stephen ‘Tin Tin’ Duffy called his band The Lilac Time after a line in River Man.

Apparently, the largest of the year.
There are many benefits of shift work. Seeing the pink moon this week on my commute has been one of them.
Indeed. Driving home on Monday morning after a night shift I was delighted to see a massive moon in my rear view…

Does this count?
Duran Duran. New Moon on Monday.
How non-Nick Drake can we be? Satch maybe?
Bad Moon Rising?
Let’s have the Blue Aeroplanes version instead
Duran Duran, Louis Armstrong and Nick Drake on same thread.
Only on the AW.

We are not worthy @salwarpe

Mrs Biggles’ birthday today.
Given lockdown, one was doing canapes, aperitifs and dinner for her, trying to cater for her every whim, despite the restrictions.
Easy option to accompany dinner – Joni.
DJ Biggles At The Controls then took requests – “that Nick Drake, please”…
…”The one with strings and decent tunes, that is not so depressing”.
It is/was her birthday, after all.
