This lovely picture hangs on my wall, but although I can recognise some of the artists represented, I’d really like to put a name to them all. So far I have: Fela Kuti next to Johnny Cash. Bob Dylan to our left of the trunk. Zappa to our right, Robert Smith and Leo Sayer on the far right. Oh, and I wonder if the little angle up top is supposed to be Sabbath and the UFOs probably Parliament / Funkadelic.
Any more would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I was hoping to get the pic to display, but the ‘direct’ link from Photobucket doesn’t work.
Would that be Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan at the base of the trunk?
I’m pretty sure that’s Bob Marley playing footie.
Deffo Bob.
And if it’s not Nusrat, it’s his brother.
I can see Peter Skellern, Hurricane Smith, Don Estelle, Mary Hopkin, the funny looking one from Showaddywaddy and Gibby Haynes. Woops, sorry, I was looking at the wallpaper.
A few guesses- quite hard ‘cos I think it’s a mix of ‘personalties’ & news pics .
Gil Scott Heron on the left ‘in’ the tree
Definitely Marley playing footy (Battersea Park I believe, if it helps)
Big Youth or I-Roy in the tree on the right ( with a T shirt over a long sleeve)
Base of the tree in a suit is Leonard Cohen
I concur with Sal that it’s NFAK in front of the tree
I think the man with arms aloft is from a Vietnam war photo
I think the guy on the right in the tree with hand up touching his head is a Black Panther, though don’t know if it’s a high profile one
Wildest guess is bottom right in a ‘suit’ is the dark haired one from the Slits – name escapes me – something about the stance reminds me of an old photo of Punk originals & the fuzziness makees the subject look beefier than they actually are.
I’m having a very busy day , as you can tell.
Oh & definitely Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan & FZ on the bog.
Possibly the Beatles’ Yogi chap in the tree looking right? ( keep thinking of Henry Wolf from The Rutles!)
Is that Augustus Pablo tooting on his thingamajig, directly under Mr. Cash’s finger-sticking snarl?
Good call, Mr Fox.
I believe he’s East of the River Nile ( location is SO important, isn’t it Kirsty?)
I’ll get me coat.
If you go far enough round the world, everywhere is East Of The River Nile.
If you say so, Tig
