Looks like his widow has some genuine grievances although possibly they weren’t as close when he died as she states. Also, according to her, Rick was hammering the rock n roll lifestyle right to the end and it contributed indirectly to his death.

To be fair to the Fail (did I just write that?) the story has all the hallmarks of a woman who has suddenly discovered she’s not as well-off as she thought she was getting in touch with the papers to raise a few bob.
….. and to agree to pose for such wistful pictures and to also have agreed to such a stylised, thoughtful costume change must have been extremely challenging at this delicate and traumatic time.
