Alina: “My family and friends are being murdered, seeing their homes destroyed, their future stolen”
Roger: “I’m against all bad guys, me. Look at what the West gets up to. I was dead against it all, I was, me. Me, me, me. Got any doggie pics?”

I can do without any more anti-Western useful idiots, whether they shout it from behind their SWP placards, or in a haze of smoke and spotlights in an enormodome. RW’s psychology and thinking was confused from “The Wall” onward, and hasn’t progressed in 40+ years.
See also Russell Brand.
(“Anti-Western idiot” not “confused from The Wall onward”. Though the latter wouldn’t surprise me.)
How anyone ever thought RB was clever staggers me. he seemed like just another Camden wannabe guru creep, of the kind that was ubiquitous in Camden from the 70s to the 20-teens. Maybe that’s what passed for brains when you hung around with Pete Docherty and Lily Allen.
“Oh, but he uses long words!”
Yes. He doesn’t know what they mean, though. Is that too much to ask?
Bullshit baffles brains….
In perfect isolation….
…where everyone has recourse to the law and no one kills the children anymore.
He’s always banging on about “empathy,” it’s a word he uses a lot. I see empathy in his lyrics. Not so much in his reply to Alina.
That guy who was spat at got off lightly.
It reminds me of that interview by that other egocentric twunt The Andrew Formerly Known As Prince.
