It seems many of us went for the wrong option and got the final four letters right but, with hindsight, the right answer is definitely more sensible and obvious – once you see it. Unless there is a third word that ends with the same 4 letters I am missing.
There’s actually two more words with the same last four letters, but I’d eliminated those earlier on. So there are four words it could have been.
I think the word you lot chose (like what Mrs W did) is more sensible and obvious than the solution. I only did it in four cos I’d already eliminated your first letter.
I went with your ‘use the same letter twice’ strategy and a load of good it did me
I did as well. Although it wasn’t the strategy (I didn’t know for sure the letter was in the word). I used it because I assumed that was the kind of tricky behaviour I would expect them to use. Which they hadn’t. Bastards.
