Lovely bloke, by all accounts. From my wife’s home town, still kept his accent, still raises funds for local causes. His band? Wonderful. The essence of what pop music should be about. And feck me, could Jim & Nods write a bloody chewn.
I seriously doubt there is a bigger (sadly, in more than one sense of the word), fan of the mighty Slade in this parish of ours.
