Saw them support the Decemberists t’other night and they were rather good. Two girls from Brooklyn facing each other over a rack of percussion instruments with a four piece band (sans bass) sometimes tight delicate harmonies, sometimes shouty, sometimes everyone playing drums. What’s not to like?

Nice…second great discovery of the morning, and it’s only 8:50 (see @geoffbs7‘s post about Jon Cleary).
Love them. If you like smart retro-sixties pop that is not a million miles from B52 or even Talking Heads just get Wildewoman – every track on it as as good as the two above. Here is my current fav, the title track, which starts about 30 secs in:
