I really love Sinead’s voice, and I like that song, but I hate the way her public announcements about her deeply personal issues always seem to coincide with the release of new material.
There’a a poll/petition site thing to release a double LP of b-sides and odds and ends. It’s a three-way vote between her, Belly (another of my faves) and some other I can’t remember. I’d buy it.
Didn’t know Faith and Courage was an album of b-sides and odds and ends. I have it on CD and aways assumed it was an official album release. It’s very good though.
Hope the above is a prelude to a new album – I miss her.
I know she’s had a frequently troubled life, but, occasionally, I remember I met Sinéad once, many years ago, and she was younger than me then so she really ought to be younger than I am now..

That’s fantastic, Retro. Is there a new album on the way?

Belly won this month’s vote, 2LP comp coming out in Jan 2021.
So… Faith and Courage remains unissued on vinly.

I stand corrected. Never been on vinyl, though, apparently. The Belly is definitely a comp.
TBH, apart from the reggae-tastic Throw Down Your Arms and the folk songs one, I stopped after she left Ensign.

Is it only me that finds the song above a ghastly, dispiriting dirge?
Hopefully……. 😉
It isn’t just you.
I think it’s great
More publicity seeking no doubt …
