I know Wire have a few fans here, they’ve just announced a new (eponymous) LP and this is the teaser track for it. Typical Wire track in that it’s very short, has no chorus or immediate hook, but oddly catchy. It’s a grower.

Nice one. Touring this spring too….
I really like that, a lot. Wire are one of the many bands I`ve never got round to investigating . In fact I don` t think I`ve ever heard a single track by them.
Where should I start? Is their early stuff similar to this? For the record I`m a late 70`s new wave 80`s guitar krautrocky type of guy.
Any recommendations gratefully receieved.
I’m no fan of Pink Flag but Chairs Missing and 154 are essential.
Red Barked Tree from 2011 was very good.
