For the second day in a row, its a post of a new track that caught my eye – this time a new Bond theme from none other then Lana Del Ray (with help from David Arnold).
Its for an upcoming video game not a movie, but its still a Bond theme and its rather fabulous.
Video in comments.

On this evidence I always thought Goldfrapp could be up for the job.
Their ‘Time out from the World” would be a shoo-in too. Perhaps for a OHMSS reboot.
And whilst we are on the topic of Bond, who should / will be the next James Bond ?
After his performance in the latest season of The Capture, my vote is Killian Scott.
I really like the First Light theme. David Arnold’s contribution has added a lot more oomph than LdR’s songs often have, and her voice suits a Bond theme very well.
Good suggestion re Killian Scott. He was brutal in the combat scenes and had a real air of mystery about him. I remember him from the last couple of series of Ripper Street, where he played another tough character with a certain strangeness about him. (Added points for “Kill-ian”, which is a name an Ian Fleming character might have.)
The suggestions that seem to be bandied around lately are Callum Turner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Jacob Elordi. In my self-appointed and strictly unofficial role of potential Bond casting director, I say they’re all wrong.
I know this is entirely superficial and the Amazon/Bond team probably know better, but Turner looks too young and/or soft to be a ruthless agent, AT-J just doesn’t say “007” to me, and Elordi is 6ft 5in tall. I saw a suggestion that if he was cast, he would have to stand in a hole to do scenes with his leading ladies. And any goons/top henchmen are going to have to be even taller and bigger to look as if they pose a serious danger to Bond. Fight scenes could end up looking like our man versus a basketball team.
My picks, since you ask? Dan Stevens, Aidan Turner, or indeed Killian Scott.
My vote is for Holliday Grainger….
Lana doing a theme song for a Bond video game is very ‘meta’ – I approve.
In theory this sounds amazing, but I heard this yesterday and was a trifle underwhelmed.
* Bit like most Bond movies
Sounds good. A typical Bond song.
But more importantly we are still waiting for her delayed “country” album.
