I’ve just received an email telling me that it’s National Shortbread Day.
I had no idea such a thing existed, especially so close to both Hogmanay and Burns Night.

I’ve still got an out a third of a tin left over from Hogmanay, but at the same it’s exactly the mix of fat and carbs I’m staying clear of at the moment. It’s a dilemma, I can tell you.
As I am sure you know, here in Sweden we celebrate Cinnamon Bun Day!

Ridiculous maybe, But I always sorry for those poor souls who have clearly missed out on the possibility tp enjoy some sweet, perfectly shaped Swedish buns.
That droopy, hangdog expression they have! I can spot it a mile off!
On the whole, I’d rather have a cinnamon bun than shortbread…
Having said that, when I’ve done my shopping today, I was planning a trip to a coffee shop – I can see a piece of shortbread featuring…I wonder if the shop staff realise the significance of the day?

A date to pencil into your new 2024 calendars: April 13th is National Diarrhea Day.
Right in the middle of National IBS Awareness month.
Well, I never! Any events? Must be big in Bristol…
It runs all week.
Number 2 in the Chart!

“Sweet, perfectly shaped Swedish buns” eliciting no response. Was it Moose’s day off as well?
Not just shortbread.

Wonder if they could be combined in some way…🤔
Wish…Command.
