I have the glums today and need cheering up, please.

Please suggest bouncy, happy, cheering music that makes you glad to be alive.

I will subsequently Spotify it right up for you as a reward. 🙂

  48. @gasman Hi, you should just be able to click on the playlist icon and it will then take you to Spotify; if you have an account you can then follow it. (I don’t know if you can see it without an account, sorry!)

    • I had a friend at university who claimed that he would put the following on the Dansette, then “dance around the living room” …..paused for effect & gave us an evil grin……”naked!!”. We believed him….and he always seemed happy…..

  66. @kid-dynamite There’s no way you could have known this- but when I was 3/4 I used to sing ‘Raindrops…’ constantly. My Mum tells me I used to sing it in the street.

    So I have a warm and fuzzy Proustian rush now. Many thanks. 🙂

    • Glad to oblige. When she was 3 or 4 my own daughter was going through an Elvis phase, and used to walk down the street announcing to all and sundry that she was a hunka hunka burning love.
