‘8 Tracks’. Okay, so there’s a remix by you-know-who, and you can finally get your hands on the legendary Snowy White audition again, but isn’t this just effectively an expanded Collection of Great Dance Songs?

Completely pointless. Scraping the barrel?
Sony recouping their investment!
Nothing to see other than the joined up Pigs on the Wing with Snowy White, which any self respecting fan will already have acquired years ago either off the original 8 track or from Snowy’s Goldtop compilation set.
Don’t think SW has remixed anything, he’s just created some linking sections between songs from the original multitracks to provide a seamless listening experience.
Desperate. They must need the money.
The band doesn’t have any control now having sold their catalogue.
Current owners probably realising they paid more than they should have, so they’re milking it hard.
Exactly my thoughts. This could be the Alan Partridge version of Pink Floyd. TBH, I I have now heard Pink Floyd so many times that I have no desire to hear them again. They have become so over-exposed that they have lost the shine (on).
And they certainly wouldn’t have approved that cover art work!
..or the shitty web site that now hawks all of their work.
