First music artist I ever saw. Brought up, and still live in Shetland, so first opportunity was when I went away to college in Aberdeen. He was supporting Dr Feelgood. Would have been October 1977.
Yes I saw him on that tour. The good people of Leicester didn’t really ‘get it’ with his act it must be said, despite Spanish Stroll being in the charts…
