A brief heads-up – the sensational short-lived jazz-rock quintet led by Mike Westbook in the early weeks of 1972, with Isotope guitar wiz Gary Boyle, released an own-label live album ‘Live’ at the time. Now we have a fabulous new expanded remaster on Hux Records, mastered by Jon Hiseman and featuring two extra tracks. Trust me, it’s terrific…
The audio clip attached is from the pre-remastered vinyl.
Will you PLEASE stop costing me money. FFS.
Sorry Vulpmeister! Dare I mention the 3 disc version of Marching Song on RPM or the CH Westbrook feature in Record Collector (which I’m told will appear as soon as Chuck Berry stops dying)?
Pre-ordered.

Nice.
Mmmm … that does indeed sound very tasty.
Sounds very tempting. I followed Westbrook around various London haunts around this time. They were mostly big band gigs but I do recall a small group in some dive in Soho, possibly before 1972 and a slightly larger group – definitely had George Khan and Gary Boyle in it though. Really ace gig.
