If this was anyone else I´d just assume they were having a laugh, but since it is who it is, of course he isn´t.
And haven´t we all been waiting for a new version of Getcha Back, which makes Still Cruisin sound like a good idea. No duet with Mr Orange though. Strange.

With this art work a duet album with Van would seem the obvious next move.
Every morning – this is true – Mike Love sits by his pool on the California coast and gives himself a loving body massage. He’s probably humming a loving mantra to himself, too.
There’s a photo somewhere (don’t look for it) of him and Donnie Trump, being buds. Egotistical, lecherous, utterly insensitive, and completely delusional.
You people are being mean. I think more album covers should be made using the WordArt feature on Powerpoint.
I’m sure the cover art accurately reflects the equal quality of the ‘music’ within.
And he has the unmitigated gall to include ‘Brian’s Back’…! After effectively sacking the poor bloke from the Beach Boys 5 years ago.

Oh, it’s awful. Looks like a wacky PowerPoint presentation where someone has gone crazy with the fonts and backgrounds. Do you think there was an actual designer involved, or has he allowed his teenage nephew or something to knock up a cover for him?
I’m pretty certain that dove taking off is a free .png file (transparent/no background), very similar to the one Santana got off an internet for nothing for his last album.
Most pleasingly, side by side on last night’s Top Of The Pops ’84 chart rundown were ‘When Doves Cry’ and ‘On The Wings Of Love’.
I flicked through the Mike Love autobiography when it came out last year ( there was no way I was going to buy the thing ). All you need to know about the unpleasant deluded baseball cap-wearing twit is that he spends just 6 pages chronicling the recording of Pet Sounds, but 7 pages on the making of Kokomoko.
Interesting that the album cover’s got a sticker with The Beach Boys logo on it. Can’t read the words, but I imagine it says something like ‘Mike Love – the original genius behind the music of – The Beach Boys.’
Could this be the start of an influx of Love?
