I remember a 2007 Kris Kristofferson gig in Glasgow Royal Concert Hall when, at the end, a few rather mature female fans tried to clamber on to the fairly low stage to show Kris how much they appreciated him. As […]

I had the AstraZeneca option on 4th February. The whole process here, in Dumfries, was very efficient and took no more that 10 minutes from getting out of the car and back in again. I felt a bit lethargic next […]

As I live in Dumfries where Burns spent his final years, I took a 10 minute walk this morning across the river Nith to St Michael’s cemetery where his mausoleum is sited. I then walked up the river and across the […]

I have a spare ticket for tonight at the QM Glasgow as my mate called off this morning due to illness. Happy to let it go for anything up to face value (£15). Doors at 7pm but I imagine the band won’t be on till […]

In the early 70’s I was taken to a bar called The Crazy Daisy by my late, older brother who was a drummer with local bands at the time. The Crazy Daisy was in Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow and on Saturday […]

Yes, indeed, Chris has been most ubiquitous and has played with a large number of bands and artistes. Never really set the heather on fire under his own steam though. Good guitarist
