Saw him as lead singer in The Frames in Hollywood supporting Calexico. He was an engaging frontman. Loved his voice more in an acoustic setting. Clearly a talent.

I mourn the disappearance of Black Deer which was a fabulous festival and had much better artists than Maverick. I will look out for the lineup at Maverick next year as it looks like it is a nice festival.
