Not exactly. Just remembering that I once had a web page with the track list of the karaoke machine from hell.
Can’t remember the details apart from Supper’s Ready, Mouldy Old Dough and Airships from the first Spizz album. -

What I do know about Supper’s Ready is that it is not something you want to turn up at a karaoke night!

He may be a national treasure who I have a great deal of affection for but… Wilko Johnson.
Also, Bernard Sumner. I was watching a recent-ish New Order concert film on Sky Arts and thought “Hello. His voice […]

Skuds commented on the post, Let's hear it for the compilation! 6 months, 1 week ago
I am partial to a good compilation.

Skuds commented on the post, Do you Wordle? 6 months, 4 weeks ago
Personally I haven’t been tempted, but I did have a go on https://sweardle.com a couple of times.
Much easier as it only uses 4-letter words, and even then only a reduced subset of 4-letter words.

Skuds commented on the post, ATM – learning how to use WordPress – what book to buy? 7 months ago
One thing to look out for is the difference between a wordpress.org site and a self-hosted WordPress site. I think that book is aimed at self-hosted sites so a fair bit will not be applicable to a WordPress.org […]

Skuds commented on the post, So, how’s 2021 been for you? 7 months, 3 weeks ago
After various job and home changes, I finally ended up in a situation where I can walk to work in 5 minutes. I finally managed to eliminate the commute from my routine and then it all became a moot point.
We […]

Skuds commented on the post, Which OAP is going to win this year??? 7 months, 3 weeks ago
You should Google Tanzwut. Their Wikipedia entry has one of the greatest lines in Wikipedia… “Tanzwut are known for their heavy use of bagpipes, an unusual instrument for a metal band.”

Skuds commented on the post, So, how’s 2021 been for you? 7 months, 3 weeks ago
Its been a funny old year. Obvs.
It feels like life has been on hold for a year or two and that is not too desirable when you are on the cusp of 60 so realise you don’t have such a large number of years left that […] -

Not sure about JCC
Read his autobiography and it got to the point where it was all about how to get his next fix. I hope he manages to keep his natural bonhomie and sparkling wit through it all, but you never […]

Based on their tweets…
I suspect that Jah Wobble is good company.
Rick Wakeman appears to be amiably obsessed with animal welfare and soup-induced flatulence, not necessarily in that order. The gold […]

Skuds commented on the post, Kindle or app? Your thoughts? 1 year ago
Although I have the Kindle app on my phone and tablet it is only for emergencies, and hardly ever used – but at those odd times it is very handy that it syncs up properly and remembers where you were.

Skuds commented on the post, Where do you go to find the new albums released this week? 1 year, 2 months ago
The recent change to Spotify *is* very frustrating. I found a lot of stuff through the ‘new releases’ tab of the ‘browse’ section, supplemented by the new releases you might like list and the release radar.
I’m […]

I know it is unfashionable, but I quite like the post-Waters Pink Floyd. I like all the various incarnations of the band in different ways. I may have been influenced by having first seen them live at the start […]
