Wizzard were the first band I saw live. Roy Wood is indeed a genius, and Elton John says in his autobiography that he was inspired to write his own songs after hearing Roy Wood’s great Move compositions in played in concert.

Talking of Wizards, there is probably space for Wizzards Brew. Like a bunch of LSD-tainted sax players let loose in an iron foundry. Very good.

I would heartily recommend Vinyl Tap opposite the station in Huddersfield. Try to make it unless of course you have had a bizarre gardening accident.
